MEIRIONNYDD RSPCA
IS IN DANGER OF CEASING TO BE FOR LACK OF ACTIVE MEMBERS
|
Because there are now so few active members i.e. committee members / trustees, the group is almost certainly going to cease to exist as an independent charity after its AGM in April. If we do not get offers of a few more people to come on board [it is not really a very onerous task to do something within the group but we are legally obliged to have a minimum number of committee members] the trusteeship will have to be taken over by the main society. This will mean that we can function in only a very limited way and our temporary administrators will be a long way from Meirionnydd. So if anyone reading this lives in Meirionnydd and is willing to help, please phone our secretary Sal Shipley on 01654 712414, chairman Shirley Clough on 01341 422697 or me, Daphne Percival on 01766 540553 and we can explain more. |
